CIPHER Craft Pvt. Ltd. started in 2018 in Rajkot, and the reason was not some grand vision. It was a frustration we kept running into. The CRMs an Indian business could actually buy came in two flavours. Big global tools that had never heard of a WhatsApp enquiry, a GST invoice or a salesman on a bike. Or a spreadsheet, a diary and one person's memory, holding the whole thing together until that person took a day off.
Neither one fit. So we built the other kind. India-first, from the first line of code. WhatsApp Business, a mobile app made for field staff, billing in rupees, local lead capture. Not features we bolted on later to look modern, but the spine of the product.
The second decision mattered just as much. We refused to ship one flat, one-size CRM. A logistics fleet, a dental chain and a property broker do not work the same way, so why should they open the same empty screen? One strong core, shaped into 31 industry editions, so the CRM bends to the business instead of the other way round.
Years on, 192+ businesses across India run their day on CIPHER. And we still build the way we started. Sitting with real teams, watching where the work snags, then fixing that. Not theory. The actual Tuesday.
