What is a custom tab in a CRM?
CRM custom tabs are extra sections you add to a record screen to hold information the standard tabs do not cover. In CIPHER CRM a custom tab can be a list, where you add entries over time, or a form, with one set of details per record. Both use the full custom field library and save each entry the instant you add it.
CIPHER CRM lets you build your own tabs without code. Choose the record type, from leads, staff, proposals, estimates, invoices and credit notes, give the tab a name, and it appears instantly on every record of that type. There are two shapes. A List tab is repeatable, for logging entries over time, such as trial sessions on a lead or courses on a staff profile. A Form tab holds one set of extra details per record, such as a brief attached to a proposal. Both shapes use the full field-type library, from dates and dropdowns to file uploads and sub-tables, with built-in validation. Inside a tab you can search entries instantly and drag them into order, and every entry saves the instant you add it. Some industries already get extra tabs through industry setup, such as Site Visits and Property Requirements for real estate. CIPHER CRM is used by 192+ businesses.
